All of our guides are ACA Level 1-2 Certified Stand Up Paddle Board Instructors and are all certified in Wilderness First Aid and CPR.
Lead Guide: Nick
Nick has spent the last 8 years guiding all over the country. Whether whitewater rafting, rock climbing, paddling, or backpacking; he’s led groups of all ages into the wilderness. Most recently he’s worked for Deer Hill Expeditions as an Instructor and Program Leader in the Southwest US leading month long expeditions for teenagers. He has completed instructor courses with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and in the winter is a ski instructor at a local ski resort. He’s led trips for Central Michigan University, Leave No Tracer Center for Outdoor Ethics, Yellowstone National Park, and other local organizations. He spends his free time paddling, hiking, skiing and traveling.
Courtney has been crafting high quality outdoor expediences for over 5 years. She’s trained national park employees, college students, and outdoor enthusiast of all ages in 13 states. She’s taken twenty 7 year olds canoeing at one time and lived to tell about it. In 2014 she traveled the country teaching outdoor ethics and logged 227 nights in her tent. She started paddleboarding in 2010 and enjoys regularly paddling new areas. Whether paddling with jellyfish in the Pacific or taking her board down the Colorado River, whatever your next adventure looks like, Courtney is ready to be part of it.
